Semi-Pro is a 2008 comedy film currently in production. It tells the story of Jackie Moon, the owner-coach-player of the American Basketball Association’s Flint Michigan Tropics, and how he rallies his teammates to make their NBA dreams come true… The film will be directed by Kent Alterman and star Will Ferrell, Andre 3000, Will Arnett, Woody Harrelson, Maura Tierney, David Koechner, and Nick Brambila. The movie was shot in Los Angeles near Dodger Stadium (in the gym of the Los Angeles City Fire Department Training Center), and in Detroit and Flint, Michigan.
